| The Bible has always been the primary roadmap for Middle
Eastern archaeology because of its proven accuracy. Many tribes and
nations in the Bible were thought to be mythological until modern archaeology
confirmed their existence.
The phrase used eleven times in Genesis, "these are the generations
of ..........," means "these are the ancestors of .........,"
it does not mean "these are the offspring of ..........."
(as is popularly imagined), therefore, because the Hebrew word for to
write is to cut in (into clay cuneiform tablets), and because the ancient
cuneiform tablets were traditionally signed off upon at the end of the
tablets, the Genesis account is actually a compilation of eyewitness
accounts written by Adam, Noah, and the others (see Chapter 21 of my
book).
Obviously, therefore, the phrases "these are the generations of
..........." in Genesis were sign-offs by the respective authors
after their written histories were recorded preceding their respective
sign-off phrases. Many ancient pagan accounts predictably mirror this
Genesis history (even histories of the pre-Flood world), and I have
proven that the ancients mapped and navigated the earth (see Article
#11 at www.GenesisVeracity.com), so let's talk on-the-air about these
points of interest.
